Certified/Affiliated Organizations
Supporting member of the Japan Bioplastics Association
In 2020, we became a supporting member of the Japan Bioplastics Association, and our tube body, which uses biomass plastic, was certified as meeting the identification standards. Biomass plastic can be used for the inner layer, outer layer, and shoulder, with a maximum biomass plastic content of 78% or more.
Obtaining approval to use the biomass mark
The VE-01 Bio Series was approved to meet the standards set by the Japan Organics Recycling Association and received approval to use the biomass mark in June 2022. By incorporating environmentally friendly additives, the carbon-neutral nature of biomass means that even when incinerated, it does not increase atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
Eruboshi (3-star) certification
In May 2024, we received the "Eruboshi (3 stars)" certification. The Eruboshi certification is a system that allows companies that have demonstrated excellent implementation of initiatives related to women's participation in the workforce to be certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare upon application. We will continue to work to create an environment where employees can continue to work with peace of mind and balance their work and family lives.
Certified by Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a company that promotes work-life balance support
In November 2022, we were registered and certified by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a company that promotes support for balancing work and family life.
This system registers companies that actively support balancing work and family life, including childcare and nursing care, as "Companies Promoting Support for Balancing Work and Family Life," and awards them with a "Company Promoting Support for Balancing Work and Family Life" mark based on the status of their work-life balance support system and their usage record.
Certified as a Minato Ward Work-Life Balance Certified Company
In October 2020, we were certified as a Minato Ward Work-Life Balance Certified Company.
This is a system implemented by Minato-ku, Tokyo, where the company's headquarters is located, and small and medium-sized enterprises that meet the criteria can be certified as working to support work-life balance and create a workplace where everyone can work comfortably.
Toyama Marine Garbage Volunteer Group
In January 2025, I joined the Toyama Marine Debris Volunteer Club.
Participating groups will carry out cleanup activities on the coasts, in towns and in neighborhoods within Toyama Prefecture, and will also work to raise awareness of the marine litter problem among people close to them. By actively participating, we hope to raise awareness of environmental issues and contribute to the local community.
