VE-01 Bio Series
Product overview

Bio series

The tube body is made of PE and the cap is made of PP, each of which is manufactured by blending environmentally friendly additives.
By using additives that can be used in PE and PP, it has become possible to use environmentally friendly materials for the caps as well, something that was difficult to achieve with Green Bio Tubes.
By incorporating environmentally friendly additives, the carbon neutrality of biomass prevents the increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration even when incinerated (suppressing the increase in concentration by up to approximately 10%).
The VE-01 Bio Series has been certified to meet the standards set by the Japan Organic Resources Association, a general incorporated association, and has been approved to use the biomass mark.

What is the biomass mark?

This is proof that the product is environmentally friendly and utilizes plant-derived resources (biomass), and is certified as meeting the relevant laws, regulations, and standards for quality and safety.
Only products that pass the inspection of the Japan Organic Resources Association can display the biomass mark.

What is biomass degree?

This indicates the percentage of dry weight of biomass used to the dry weight of the product, and the percentage is shown in the biomass mark logo.

Benefits of using biomass

Plants use photosynthesis to create organic matter using carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, water, and sunlight.
All animals originally grew by eating plants, so it can be said that all organic matter (biomass) produced by living organisms is made from carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Burning biomass produces carbon dioxide, just like burning gasoline.
However, since biomass is made from carbon dioxide in the air, the carbon dioxide produced when it is burned can be thought of as returning to the atmosphere.
This concept is called carbon neutrality.

Use of the Biomass Mark

Products that are compatible can display our biomass mark.
It is possible to display the biomass mark on your products, allowing you to promote them as environmentally friendly.
