As environmental destruction caused by plastic waste and global warming prevention become social issues around the world, we are seeing an increasing trend to switch from plastic products to bamboo products, which are a renewable organic resource.
Therefore, bamboo tubes were developed as one of our measures to reduce the amount of plastic we use.
By using bamboo fiber as part of the layer when manufacturing the tubes, the amount of petroleum-derived plastic used can be reduced by approximately 20%.
In addition, the tube body can also be printed using "vegetable oil ink," which uses ingredients derived from food.
This is the first time in the industry that vegetable oil ink has been used on plastic products!
What is vegetable oil ink?
Ink made from recycled oils such as renewable soybean oil, coconut oil, palm oil, linseed oil, and tung oil, as well as recycled waste cooking oil that mainly contains these oils.

- Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, becoming a mature tree in just three years from germination.
Furthermore, no artificial fertilizers or pesticides are required for cultivation; all it needs to grow is water.
- Renewable and sustainable resources
- Even after being cut down, the tree regenerates and grows again from the stump, so it can be harvested repeatedly, and since there is no need to replant it, it puts no strain on the soil, making it a truly sustainable resource.
- Preventing global warming
- Bamboo is said to be good at absorbing carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases from the air, and because it is a natural material, it does not produce harmful substances even when burned, so it can contribute to measures against global warming.
